Occasionally, Netflix fully supports a series or film, clearing the decks and giving the program nearly a week of attention. The K-drama series Squid Game, which is Netflix’s biggest international series ever and holds both positions on the list of non-English most-watched shows of all time, is wrapping up its last season this week.
With only ten titles expected to release this week, it may be slower than usual, but July 2025 is already looking like it will be a very busy month. Keep an eye out since this Wednesday should give us a clearer indication of what’s going to happen.
Before they leave, there are a few things to watch out for with this week’s removals. As we previously mentioned, two significant Netflix Originals are departing, including the Polish series Signs and the fantastic limited series Stateless, which stars Yvonne Strahovski (keep in mind that you’ll need a premium tier of Netflix to watch). Additionally, as TUDUM 2025 leaves on Sunday, this week will be your final opportunity to see it on Netflix.
What to Watch on Netflix This Week
Squid Game (Season 3)
Coming to Netflix: Friday

It should come as no surprise that Netflix is putting all of its effort into the third and final season of Squid Game, which fortunately will premiere over Christmas break much sooner than the delay between seasons one and two. Our hero remains in the games following the ferocious events of the season 2 finale, and these upcoming rounds are expected to be much more lethal than the ones that have already occurred.
There have been some leaks of final season spoilers, but not all of them. As a matter of fact, we believe that fans will want to see a couple more by Friday. More when we have more to say!
Squid Game is going to end on a high note, so expect it to take over your feeds, favorite websites, and social media throughout the week.
The Royals (Seasons 1-2)
Coming to Netflix: Thursday

Netflix is continuing its summer licensing spree with several significant acquisitions, as we revealed last week. The underappreciated and underappreciated scripted series from E!, which was the network’s first program ten years ago, is one of the shows we believe might have an impact on the US top tens next week. The series, which comes from the creator of the popular CW series One Tree Hill, stars Vincent Regan, Alexandra Park, William Moseley, Elizabeth Hurley, and Merritt Patterson.
“The Royals follows the lives of a fictional British Royal family that inhabits a world of opulence, lust, sizzling scandal, and regal tradition – a world that also comes with a price tag of duty, destiny, and intense public scrutiny,” according to the official synopsis of the 40-episode television series.
Miracles from Heaven (2016)
Coming to Netflix: Friday

There aren’t many new (licensed) films this week, but one that drew our attention is Miracles from Heaven, a Christian drama from over ten years ago starring Jennifer Garner, who currently has multiple projects exclusively available on Netflix and several more in development. The Beam family is the subject of the faith-based film, which follows a mother and her family as they deal with the news that their daughter, Anna, has a rare and incurable condition. Just when they think there is no chance of a cure, a miracle occurs.
This heartwarming tale has gotten excellent reviews both when it was first released and in the years since. Martin Henderson of Virgin River co-stars with Queen Latifah, Eugenio Derbez, Kylie Rogers, and John Carroll Lynch.
